Refund policy

We operate a 30-day guarantee, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a full refund if you find the product unsuitable or not to your liking.

Once you have proof of purchase - which we'll be able to verify, you are eligible to for a full refund or exchange within the 30-day period. If at all possible, we would ask that you return the product to us (we will provide a return shipping label and payment), please try to keep the product is in its original state and packaging too in this case.

To start a return, you can contact us at caolan@halfdecentgear.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Caolán Ward, Mill Lane, Donaghpatrick, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland, C15 N832. 

Once we've received your refund or return request, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please refrain from sending items back to us without first making contact with us at caolan@halfdecentgear.com.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Alternatively, if you know you need a different size or you know the exact alternative product you want, we can process that and you will only then be billed for the difference (or refunded the difference in such cases).

Refunds
In line with our 30-day guarantee, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days once we've squared everything away with you. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
